Usually have parts in stock for most common Sears and other home appliances. I usually go there for parts for self installation. I do not use their repair services since it is on par with general Sears service (poorly trained and slow). The parts counter people are an exception and are helpful and informative. If they do not have the part in stock, I generally order from another supplier. The Sears part ordering is slow in shipping and expensive compared to other parts suppliers.

Ordered dryer parts online. Got phone call when ready. Easy pickup. the Part Center had other handy items for my dryer vent cleaning project that I used prior to installing the new dryer parts. Recommended
I ordered a part online and decided to save some cash by picking up my part at the First Avenue South parts center. I showed up around lunchtime and there was only one person helping customers. It seemed to take forever to take care of the customers who were there ahead of me and he was stopping to answer phone calls as well. I'm giving two stars because I was impressed by the call this morning to say the part was in so quickly (12 hours), but the customer service once I was in the shop was awful - I'll pay for shipping next time.
Had a great experiance. Needed to return some stuff and the guy behind the counter (tall white guy with glasses, soft spoken) went above and beyond to help me out. He knew their systems and processes and was quick to help. They had the parts I needed as well. Will come back the next time my dryer goes TU.
They had lawnmower part in stock. Reasonably price. Excellent customer service. Got the local phone number while I was there. The 800 Out source number is worthless. Cost u a star
What a nightmare! Sears couldn't guarantee they had the part for my dryer at the warehouse, but would they would call me within 48 hours to confirm they had it! Then I still had to drive over an hour during limited business hours when I should be at work. I asked if I could buy the part over the phone and have it shipped same day or next day to my local Sears store, they said no. Their response: "We're not like the auto parts stores." They should probably take lessons in customer service from the auto parts stores. I asked if I could pay them to ship it directly to my house overnight, their response: "No, if you have it shipped it comes from a different warehouse, and overnight is not available for that. We can have it there in a week." It's a dryer! Nobody discovers their dryer went out when the clothes come out dry! Overall I'm quite unsatisfied with Sears customer service. They should take lessons from auto parts stores and/or partner with Amazon to keep the customers happy.
Great customer service. Folks took time to confirm I had assured my dryer element was at fault. I had, andI knew it was, but I thought that they cared I was getting the correct part was a sign of great customer support.
Last time we had a guy come it to install our oven it was quick and easy and everything got installed nicely. Recently the oven stopped working so we needed a repair. The guy has come 2 separate times 3-4 hours of work each day and every time the repair man messed something up and today he left his marijuana on the counter along with not fixing the issue. I called sears and they said they will "figure it out" and I fully explained the situation. there is nothing to figure out with in a minute or a day. I want my damn oven fixed its that simple.
