I would rather give them zero stars, if that's a possibility. They charged my wife 1800 for a 1 mile trip to hospital. I wasn't allowed to accompany my wife (due to the fact that the number of covid-19 cases in the city is high). I ran back home (about half a mile) took my car and reached the hospital before they reached. I don't understand how on earth that's possible? They took a wrong turn or whatever? I could have rather walked to the hospital with my wife (I didn't know this is the kind of service I would service).

I'd give it a zero if I could. All AMR cares about is money, my sister has a history of stroke and was potentially having one while waiting am hour for AMR to show up, despite there bring a city of Seattle aid car on the scene. AMR is a terrible company who doesn't care about people, just cash.

Most people would read these reviews AFTER being scammed by AMR, and that's the issue. Like others said, how's this even legal in this state? What can be done to stop this? When you as a pacient don't even have the choice to do anything, other \medics\ call the AMR for you even for NON-CRITICAL situations when you can easily drive in yourself. We got a 1775 bill for a 9 mile unnecessary trip for our baby, that could've been an easy drive for us. Oh, and that's after a 1700 discount from the insurance company (total was over 3400). I can't even imagine how someone uninsured can afford this.

Very rude and disrespectful. Was told by a supervisor that a EMT wasn’t comfortable around me. Obviously went into the wrong field if you don’t feel comfortable be around normal people. Clearly shouldn’t be interacting with the public in high stress situations if you can’t handle a simple conversation.
