He was amazing when my daughter broke her elbow in 2 places playing basketball her senior year. He was informative, spoke to you in terms you could understand explaining the procedure to repair her elbow, he was also kind and reassuring, and most of all, he related to you as a person. He put a metal plate and 9 screws in her elbow. His skills as a surgeon are unparalleled, only 1 month post surgery, my daughter had full range of motion back. Fast forward almost 4 years and the repaired elbow began swelling and creating pain. We immediately made an appointment with Dr. Schwzrtz. His nurse and Dr. Schwartz both even remembered my daughter and what she wore the day her stitches were taken out (4 years prior and was her homecoming pep week). Dr. Schwartz discovered that her tendons were simply rubbing across her plate, so he discussed options with my daughter and they opted to remove the hardware from her now healed elbow. He warned it would be very painful over a 3 day weekend. Again he explained everything in terms she should understand. He even snuck us the plate and 9 screws he removed to make sure she could keep them. I highly recommend him!

I had years of shoulder pain/discomfort. Spent more than a year of conflicting diagnosis; until......Dr. Swartz did a basic test, confirmed issues, and made it easy to understand. He said surgery would help but May not cure all my symptoms. Nine months post surgery and I feel better than I have in years!!! He and his staff were amazing and life changing.
