Super efficient office, great focus on patient care, i had a wound as a result of an infection and needed cleanup and dressing/compression. the staff (medical and nurses) are super friendly and took excellent care of my issue.

Yet another doctor who discriminates against bariatric patients. No help for our problems because we're fat.

My dad's experience was with the wound care facility located at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown. Although the staff was friendly, the doctor and a few of the nurses acted as though they had never had training to treat a patient. My father had a gangreous toe which needed to be amputated. The doctor simply removed my father's toe with no local anesthesia at all! My dad is 96 years old! After that we were given instructions to clean his foot week after week and bring him back every two weeks. However, as my father's foot continued to turn black, we asked the doctor, Dr. Daniels, if we should be doing more as my father's foot was getting worse. Nothing was done. We then decided to transfer my dad over to GBMC Wound Care. On that day, my father was admitted to have his foot amputated as he was highly infected with three bacterial infections running through his body. He was immediately put on anti-biotics and rushed to the ER to have is foot amputated. My question to Northwest Hospital is this - WHY DID YOU NOT KNOW HIS FOOT WAS INFECTED?! IF IT WAS GANGREOUS, WHY DID YOU NOT PUT HIM ON ANTI-BIOTICS? WHY DID YOU DO NOTHING? My personal opinion regarding Northwest Wound Care - this doctor does not know what the heck he is doing and the nurses are too scared to do anything so as to risk losing their job should they challenge the doctor. DO NOT TAKE YOURSELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS WOUND CARE CENTER! Go to GBMC.
