My husband and I had purchased a dishwasher years ago and it finally quit working. We called and had it serviced twice. After one wash it would quit. I called the service department and was connected with someone out of the country and with very poor connection. After two hours on the phone and getting no where I finally hung up. We drove to the Sequim Hometown Store and talked to Anna. She was wonderful! She immediately got on the computer and within 24 hours we were contacted and the problem resolved. What great service!

New range came warped, after repairs it shorted out, after short repairs they left it like this. 4 repair visits over 4 months and it still isn't usable. Sears offered me used floor model to replace it.

Loved the in oerson experience instead of on line shopping. Owner gave us pros and cons of the the models we wanted to see. Arranged for delivery a month sooner than we expected. Well done Hometown!

They know there isn’t much to choose from on the peninsula, and the customer service shows it. I purchased online knowing what I wanted. A week later a received an email that the dryer I ordered was not actually in stock in the store, it was. So I went in, purchased the one that “wasn’t in stock” off the showroom floor. When I asked about the original purchase being on sale I was told, “well, can’t go back in time, that’s the price today.” Should have gone to Home Depot!! Edit: this review doesn’t include the headache of going thru a dispute with sears. I was charged for both dryers, so I disputed it. I actually got a message saying, “ I distinctly remember you picking this dryer up, so we really need to discuss this dispute.” So then I called, talked with a manager, was told I’d get a calL back. Never did, I called and left a message for a call back. Nothing!! Worst customer service.

The store was quite empty, not as many appliances as in the past. I was not confident in placing a order.The prices quoted were OK , no solid delivery date was available.
