We have taken several basketball teams to Camp Shalom as a retreat and an opportunity to bond. Most of our young men don't like \camping\ but when we were about to leave they didn't want to go. They had so much fun. The views are amazing. It is peaceful. Well Kept. Chris is a great host along with all of the Shalom staff. Enjoy your time at Shalom!

His wisdom and experience gave our people a 1st class retreat.The facilities are well maintained, they are small enough to be \intimate\ but big enough to accommodate your technology and facility needs. An easy drive from everywhere and yet remote enough to escape the oise of 21st century life.\ Also really important the mattresses are comfortable even for those with aches and pains. I love my time at Shalom Retreat Center. It's a bird watchers paradise and the pond is full of scrappy little bass. I enjoy sitting on the dock and reading or making an evening campfire. It's the perfect place to get away and rest.
We live in KC and when we are going to retreat for a day or a weekend, this is where we go. It's all in the name... Shalom... Peace and wholeness. We experience peace there and feel restored (more whole) when leaving. Love this place!
Camp Shalom is an incredible retreat center/camp for all ages. Looking for a serine and peaceful place to connect with God, look no further. Cabin camping, lake swimming, fire pit, chapel, AC, clean and tranquil acres to roam, hot showers, basketball court, snack shack. There is truly something for everyone! The best part is the Shillito family that serves camp Shalom faithfully. They have true Kansas hospitality and welcome everyone as part of their family. It’s a life changing retreat center.
