Couldn't find what we were looking for, nor did any of the many employees we crossed paths with care to offer any assistance. They actually avoided eye contact altogether, as if they hoped we wouldn't ask them a question. Another customer asked for assistance and the employee had no idea how to help him.

I went into home depot off lackman. Looking for sturdy replacement slats for my new platform bed. I was greeted at the entry. I directed to where lumber was. Once I got there I was walking around looking for 24 wood that I can buy and get cut. There were employees around but none were able to help. I waited for my chance to snag a helper. No luck. 10 minutes later a gentleman came over and helped me narrow down my choice. He said they can cut it for me in the back. I found my wood and headed towards checkout. This behemoth of a 24 was over 10 feet long. I grabbed a cart to wobble up to checking. I asked if they could cut this wood into manageable pieces for my bed and car.... The nice lady checked into it. Their bandsaw was down . So I wobbled my 10 foot piece of wood back where it belonged and said ill call another and check.

After using the self checkout, I was stopped by a cashier who wanted to look at my receipt. She made it obvious that she thought I was trying to steal something. First of all, you weren't the working cashier on self checkout. If you have a problem with self checkout you shouldn't have it there. You only have it because you are to cheap to hire enough people. I have spent thousands of dollars in that store, well over 10,000 for different projects the last few years. I promise you, hell will freeze over before I spend another penny in this store. Good thing Lowes is right across the highway. So sad you treat people like this.

I work there, and it's one of the best jobs I've Ever had. They take care of their employees, wich trickles down to great customer service. People will pass by other Home Depots to come here. The benifits are amazing btw. Very happy to be a part this Home Depot location.
