Our son has been with JTB for 2 years now, and it’s been one of the most enriching experiences that he’s had. His piano teacher, Ms. Lani is amazing, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Additionally, their semi-annual recital is done very professionally and gives kids a chance to feel like mini-rockstars. It’s amazing!

I was in JTB at the very beginning and for at least 5 years. It was one of the best musical experiences I've ever had. Being able to play with others was great I enjoyed it all, and had a chance to play for family and friends. John III and his people are the best and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun, and improve!

Our boy has been taking private guitar lessons since he was eight, so a couple years now. He really likes his teacher and most importantly, his interest hasn't flagged. Even though recitals make him incredibly nervous, we think it's a great learning experience to play at a real venue. When he gets a bit more confident, we'd love to put him in a band so he can experience rocking out together with peers.

I joined Join The Band many years ago when I was fairly new at guitar. They pair you up with musicians around your skill level, learn several songs, and you get a gig at a nice venue. A great program for young ones looking to meet musicians and get some experience performing together in a band environment. When I joined, they booked the Whisky A Go Go, which was an awesome experience for a bright-eyed young boy like me who appreciated the venue's history.

I have been performing and touring with a number of different projects for the last 15 years and I feel so lucky that I got my start in Join the Band.
