I go to shields all the time and usually have a great experience. Some basic lures like gulp are priced to high. Also, I have trouble getting live shrimp that are longer than my pinky finger and I wish they'd sell fiddler crabs. Employees are always friendly and professional.

Big Chiefs

Great Marina at the end of the St. Marks trail. We ride bicycles to Shields, rent kayaks to explore St. Marks river and Wakulla river. Buy shrimp if you brought your poles. Too tired from the ride, rent a pontoon boat. The best about Shields, great people all around.

I called ahead of time. They had the motor I was looking for in stock. Brett gave me his personal number and told me to call if I had any problems. When I was struggling to get it running, I took him up on his offer and he was ready to help! He quickly found the issue and got me back on the water! I highly recommend Shields Marina! Best prices, service in town!

We rented a pontoon boat and floated down the Saint Marks and Wakulla Rivers. We saw manatees, birds and turtles and a baby gator. The boat was in great shape. The folks are nice and clean restrooms.
