Took in a boot to get the soul fixed. Was told I needed to bring both boots and because if one soul failed the other one would surely be failing soon. I had only brought the one boot so I asked him to fix it. When I went to pick up my boot he had reglued the soul. And for some unknown reason he decided to trim the soul of my boot. This was the factory soul and was made specifically for that boot. Now the soles of my boots don’t match, because he trimmed the factory soul without any reason other than I suspect in order to make them match I have to bring in my other boot so that he can trim that soul to match it. And while they’re trying to convince me to let him pull off a perfectly good soul and reglue it. Took my boot to another shoe repair place, explained what had happened. They looked at the other boot said that there was nothing wrong with the other soul. They went ahead and on the spot trimmed the other soul to match what he had done and didn’t even charge me.
