Would be nice if I could speak to my Dad considering he is across the country and has dementia. Would be nice if the staff could hand the phone to my Dad when we call since he doesn't grasp that the phone is for him to answer. Would be nice if I could talk to him while he still knows who I am. He doesn't even remember how to use the phone and the staff can clearly see that. Yet all they can do is transfer. Usually from one station to the next. Here's the best part, I call them today, and they can't even find him in the system. So now I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to ever speak to him again. It's not like I can come down and see him, Covid-19 and all. It has been this way since he has been placed there.

This facility is absolutely amazing! The time and care they provide for patients and families is truly exceptional! I was particularly impressed with the care and commitment demonstrated by the staff specifically one staff, i believe she is the social services director. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would very much recommend this facility to anyone looking for top-notch care and good quality service!
My Grandmother was at this facility for short term rehabilitation, they took outstanding care of her during her stint, the healthcare professionals there are very knowledgeable and they way in which they communicated to us was great. My grandmother felt like this was a first rate facility. Their leadership in the building was amazing.
We have been very pleased with the care my father received during two stays at Arcola. The staff is friendly, responsive and professional and there is a positive attitude throughout the facility. My dad's condition improved with each stay and he was warmly welcomed back. The admin and business office goes out of their way to work with families.
My experience was beyond my belief. The staff provided excellent, professional, and courteous care. The social service director answered in a timely manner and was extremely helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
