After we checked in, we were greeted with the camp hosts. This is not unusual, and in fact, they informed us about the fire hazard and stated no camp fires up to and including portable gas fire pits. Good info and we spread the word. Over the time we spent at the camp site, I would say it was almost hourly we had visits from various camp hosts. At first, I get it.... making sure we all get the same info. But, at some point, it was just too much. I get it. There is quite time. They reminded us at 9:30 of the quite time. The only reprieve was to go on a ride and get out of the camp site altogether. This place had a promise of great fun, but I was sadly disappointed.

The in-laws have a cabin here and it is a fun little getaway. The pool is fun and the roads up the mountain are great to explore. There is tons of deer, elk, and wildlife out and about. I have yet to see a mountain lion, but maybe next visit. It is awesome to have this little mountain resort close to Fairview and Mt. Pleasant which have some of the best July celebrations.
This is a review about the rv park & campground. I’m giving 2 stars because it’s well maintained & the facilities are top notch. Now for the bad. We were in an rv spot and had friends staying in a tent site. The tent sites are literally 2 steps from a very busy road. Cars, trucks, atvs, UTVs, construction trucks going by ALL NIGHT LONG. And they still charge 25.00 for a spot. Then, they were at our spot with us at 8pm while eating. We had a little blue tooth speaker playing on level 2 volume. We were told to turn it down, even though quiet hours started at 10pm. (Words from the camp host mouth). We asked about trails for riding our rzr and we were scolded. The lady made it sound like we were looking to ride the private property around. As we were packing up to leave (2 days early) our friends were parked by us loading their truck with stuff from our site. They were told to move. I understand rules, I respect rules. However, we were being watched by vultures and felt like everything we did we’d get in trouble for. I do not recommend staying here.
Nice cross country venue. Kids really enjoyed buzzing around on golf carts. Lots of parking.
A beautiful little place tucked into a lovely farming community amid the mountains. It's quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Don't expect luxury. This place is simple and perfect.
We have been coming to the RV resort for a few years now, however this year when we stayed this last weekend for a friends birthday party we noticed that the hosts were very intrusive on our group site that was in overflow. The hosts would drive through at least 6 times a day. Reminding us of their rules. Please note that we are all adults and really don't want to be babysat the whole weekend. At one point the host knocked on our door early in the AM for some reason. The hosts seemed more concerned with a well behaved dog not on their leash then the cars speeding down the road right next to the camp spots. We put a SLOW children at play sign next to the road and they made us take it down. What on earth would that hurt? Maybe someone would actually slow down? Don't come to this resort unless you don't mind be treated like a child and being supervised your whole weekend.
Beautiful place to have your self a cabin get away.
It's safe, secure, and always fun to visit our family cabin up in the mountains of Fairview. Sadly, due to COVID-19 many of the amenities are closed or unavailable. However, the hiking trails and ATV roads are still open as well as the golf course.
