Not sure what to make of these guys... I called to ask about a replacement window for a Century shell. Gave him the serial and he said he'd check. Next day, he said it was too old, not in the system, not available. I called Century directly, they had the window assembly, 4 in stock ready to ship. Told me the color, model, and fit of the shell. But since CTC has exclusive dealer territories and won't sell direct (ugh, really, even in 2018) I contacted dealers from the surrounding area and found them all helpful and eager to make the sale. In summary, I had to spend all day driving to Danville and back, either because this guy didn't want to be bothered, or perhaps because he thought he'd be able to talk me into a sale of a new shell. The latter seems unlikely- why would I buy a shell from a company that can't provide a replacement window? Whether he's inept or dishonest, it's unfortunate that our part of the country is forced to funnel transactions through a sub-optimal outlet because of a policy choice.
