Wow! Chicken fried bacon! And corn nuggets (not hush puppies). This was a delicious meal. The chicken fried steak (small) was huge! The service was friendly and fast! All the food came out HOT! SO happy we chose to eat here!

Pretty good little place with ludicrous sized plates. Get an extra small if your stomach is of the puny variety. However, if you gullet requires something a bit more substantial then go for one of the big boys. Good luck!
Bottom line: Believe the top-notch reviews! Fine Southern-style food, and a lot of it, at reasonable prices, with terrific service. Nice atmosphere, lots of locals in a good way. It was exactly what we'd hoped for, relative to a pleasant lunch with our 20-year-old son.
This is a popular restaurant amongst the Aggies. I’ve taken my parents and then my relatives there at another time. They all enjoyed it. We like how they use the mason jars for drinks. The lemonade is really good. We tried the chicken fried bacon and it’s delicious. We’ve ordered other items there too and the portions are large. They have a great steak special too.
