This is the most terrible experience that I experienced in US. I just applied SSN, after 4 weeks when I call the office to check my application status, their staff are so inpatient and rude. I called three times in this week and everyone gave me the different answer, the most crazy thing is one of the staff hung up my calls before I finished my question. I don’t think you guys allow to have this kind of attitude to work in the office. This is unbelievable! All the staffs supposed to help residents but not giving a hard time to people, especially during this pandemic. If you old enough and tired to work, you can just go home, but not give difficulty to people who need help. You have no work ethic,and I will never go to this place again!

Covid has become excuse for every single government office. They don't welcome walk-ins. They're awful. I have submitted some documents along my ID as required document for my kids' ss card. They said it'd take 2-4 weeks to process it. Its going tp 6th week by now. I wonder if they take a consideration into others' while getting their salary out of our taxes. By grace of the God I have never got pulled over, but If I do, I still don't have my ID!!! So God knows when they would complete the process and send it...

I have an issue that can't be dealt with on line and since the offices are all closed I decided to call for advice. Unfortunately I got an extremely rude and unpleasant woman to address my questions too. She barked a few answers at me and was no help at all. Still no further forward.
