Placed a large lumber order on 2/8 and delivery was scheduled for 2/10. I had someone at the farm all day waiting on this delivery and it never showed and no one called. I waited 11 days, while working on other projects, with no follow up. I called today and they apologized and said it would be another week before they could reschedule because other deliveries were in line ahead of me. Seems like they would have been happy to keep my money and the lumber I purchased indefinitely. I have never had a problem-free order with this store.

Love this store, love the staff, lighting & cleanliness. We did an online order for one item for a DIY project. As I headed into store, notices the email spoke of car side pickup. Well we just went to the front counter where Brittany and Stephanie promptly said we can help you. Brittany seamlessly located the order and we were on our way out in 5 minutes. All this said, these ladies were professional, efficient and took the time to be polite and exchange niceties with us. We enjoy chatting with people and we shared smiles and were wished a good day. In these days of staying home and feeling isolated, this gave us a FEEL GOOD DAY. Thank you Stephanie and Brittany for being sensitive to the customer experience.

Its a good thing there's not another big box hardware store close by. These employees do as little as possible to keep their jobs. So tired of being told. \If it aint on the shelf we don't have it\. I had 9 items on my list to purchase for a major remodeling project. 7 of the items the store did not carry, yet every one of them was available in the Colonial Heights store. I get a military discount and apparently that doesn't apply to \Special Order\ items even know there stock in another store. The discount would have been almost 200. I bought the items elsewhere. I bought 1500 worth of flooring and decided to have it delivered instead of picking it up myself, seeing how I'm a 100% disabled vet. I was told it would be a week before I could get it delivered. I'm 9 miles away and know that the delivery trucks don't run that many loads out of that store. Henderson Lowe's here I come. I've bought items from Lowes and had them delivered the same day, 35 miles away. You dropped the ball one too many times Home Depot

This Home Depot is neat and orderly. Restrooms are always clean and when you can find an associate they are helpful. Limited selections on most things but this is a smaller store so... only issue I have had is the they sell lawnmowers but do not continue to sell the consumables like belts and blades.
