My sister and I did a chunky knit blanket here. The space is small and cozy, however there is still plenty of room to work. The staff or instructors we had, Paige and Amanda, were AMAZING. It truly is part of the experience. These ladies were running back and forth to help everyone and not once complained or acted like they didn’t want to help. It was nice to get personal with them and make a great craft. I also like that they had the knowledge to fix our blankets. When knitting a chunky knit blanket for the first time you might have different sized loops. They also aren’t afraid to do whatever design you want. The blanket turned out so well. I love my blanket and always wanted to make one in the past. It is warm, soft, and I love the colors I chose. Highly recommend coming here and doing a workshop. This is the best AR Workshop I have been to.

This is the perfect place to take a group or just go to do a project on your own. Far superior to the typical "paint and take" workshops- you actually design your piece from tons of custom options and construct it from high quality materials from start to finish, with the guidance of their staff. I have done several sessions now and cannot recommend it highly enough. Not only is it an enjoyable time spent, but you leave with a quality piece for yourself or to give as a gift.
AR Workshop St. Joseph, MO, is such a fun and unique experience! If you want a place to go with family and/or friends for two or three hours of creativity, camaraderie, and relaxation, I highly recommend this shop. The staff and owner are the best at guiding each person through making unique and timely items; they are very friendly and helpful! I have enjoyed making a few things for myself, and I will return again in the near future to make more!
AR Workshop in St Joseph, MO is a great day or night out with friends, family or significant other. I’ve been there more times than I can count, and still they come up with new projects I want to do. They are attentive, skilled and a lot of fun. You are in for a fantastic time anytime you walk through their door.
I love this little workshop. It’s a fun relaxing place to get creative and also have family gatherings, baby showers, girls nights and much more. If you don’t have time to create a gift let the ladies know what you are wanting and they will be more than happy to design and create it for you. Also there’s a tone a cute gifts.
If you have love in your heart for great people and fun times- this is the place for you! The shop is super inviting, the project selections are trendy, super customizable, and even the “hardest” of projects are achievable. The staff does a fantastic job of assisting with color questions, finishing techniques, and assembly of larger pieces. You will always walk away amazed at what you have created

AR Workshop is a special place! I have completed several projects with friends, my daughter has celebrated her 10th birthday there and recently also attended one of the summer camps. She was so proud of her creations and has proudly displayed them. AR Workshop also proudly supports local schools and is a real gem in our city.
