Wonderful museum!!! Can see the inside and outside of the lighthouse. Amazing displays and info on life on the bay from boats, items, displays for kids all set in a beautiful park. We drive 3 hours to spend the day

The place is quite well-maintained. We can learn the history of this lighthouse, the place and also get the information about other lighthouses. The llighthouse itself is one of 12 museums in the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum complex. That's why - I think - not many -even the shopkeepers I asked for- knew about the location of this lighthouse. The entrance fee to the museum is also valid for two days.
