Moonbeam Great Kills Marina belongs to Department of Parks and recreation. Over all it's a nice place, people is very friendly. 2012 Hurricane Sandy destroyed entire Marina. Marina was rebuilt in 2014. Most of the people lost their boats including myself. I came back to Marina in 2016. I was happy to see much better place. Marina has about 250 slips. Stuff is very friendly. It's like one big Family. Marina has new management and they trying to keep Marina as clean as possible. Hopefully new management will do better job then previous management. I wish good luck to new management. Hopefully Moonbeam Marina become the best in Staten Island New York.

Not fancy but adequate, good staff, clean rest rooms,fuel available across the small bay, staff can help with any needs, Uber picks up as does Enterprise . Can take New York Transit bus into Manhattan for 6.50 one way, 1/2 price if a senior, must have exact change or card. Beaches nearby, many fish in the bay. Many restaurants across the pond. Relatively new floating docks. Travel lift, waste oil disposal, beach across the street.

Great docks. Excellent and friendly staff. Only downside is that you are very remote.
