I am a Private Geriatric Care Manager and have been so for over 20 years. I have been trying to get my client out of here for over 5 days now, and have been blocked at every turn: I have never, EVER experienced this before!!! I understand they want to keep my client because that is how they make money, but not only does my client wish to leave, she can be better cared for at home with professional 24h care. I will not only be reporting them to the Department of Health, but also to the Medicare Fraud department: they say the patient cannot be discharged until she is medically cleared by the physician but the physician has not returned a single call for FIVE DAYS to even enquirer about the home plan. This morning when my client was calling for help, a nurse told her to be quiet or she would “close the door and let her die.”

Words cannot express my gratitude for the good people of Hudon Pointe. My health took an unexpected turn for the worse. After leaving the hospital, I was sent to their facility. I was concerned at first because all I wanted to do was get back home, but the people at Hudson Pointe made me feel more than comfortable and at home. I was there for nearly 3 months and can't remember a bad experience. Leaving here now is bittersweet. Aron and Cris I will miss the most. Thank you for all that you have done for me. If I or some one I know needs their services in the future I will definitely recommend Hudson Pointe.

This facility and it's employees were extremely negligent. Please keep you love ones away from this negligent money hungry place..my dad was sent to the facility, staff was disrespectful, I was not to see observe my dad treatment, I receive a huge bill for things my dad did not need. food was horrible there was no choices meals except what was serve, The nursing staff is poor Sophie had no bedside manors. Staff has poor misdemeanor no one is on the same page patients looks abandoned, unprofessionally staff none really cares at the facility this facility and it's employees were extremely negligent. As the result of poor nursing care/judgement. This facility those of you that have no medical background. My dad was starved, he lost 50 lb. Nursing assistants were awful, and he never received the physical therapy that he was supposed to get while inpatient. If a patient is sick and needs level of care this facility shouldn't have accepted him, it was all about their revenue and not the patient.

My grandmother has been in this facility since may 29th and has already had 3 falls and 2 emergency visits. They also changed her medication without notifying anyone. With this COVID , it is so frustrating but also scary because you want your loved one safe and this does not seem to be the case. Please rethink carefully before placing a loved one in a facility especially now during this pandemic.

I am giving this facility 5 stars. My Mom stayed at Hudson Pointe for the final 3 weeks of her life. The nurses, aides, therapists were caring, attentive and compassionate. She was made comfortable through out the 3 weeks and always clean. The facility is very clean. Whenever we had an issue and spoke to the staff (nurses, aides, social worker), we received a response and a resolution. This is a 24 hour facility, you can visit at anytime. I am not sure why this facility has received negative reviews. With patient care, families should be involved asking questions and advocating specially with terminally ill loved ones. The nurses and aides work very hard and they do have a lot of patients to see- the key is for families to be involved. All I can say is that our experience was very positive and my Mom received excellent care.
