Did a great job on my mother's cake. Very nice and we'll done. Even tho we was 45 minutes late picking up the cake cause we got lost in the middle of it being rush hour. The guy wasn't very understanding over the phone and kind of nasty. I just wanted my mother to have a good Birthday and some good cake. I don't think I will order from that location again. The lady that took my order was very nice but whoever that guy was that called me when it was time to pick up the cake was not really nice. He also kept saying he was shutting the shop down when I told him we was near by. Even tho he did wait but still was very nasty and I didn't like his tone. It was out of our control when we got lost and during rush hour. I must say the cake was beautiful over all and tasted good. Thank you again and sorry about the wait.
This place was great, but it isn’t any longer. I didn’t want to believe the bad reviews because I have been going there for every birthday of my 36 years. This cake is a disgrace! It does not even look the correct color & the taste is horrendous. The cake is hard and the frosting , I cannot even describe how bad it taste. I had my dad drive from CT to get me this antojito and it wasn’t worth the time or money. The cookies he got as well were stale & dry. They should be shut down for selling old products to the consumers!!! This could get people sick!
This location is a diamond in the rough! Don't drive too fast down Edgewater Rd or you just might miss it. The staff there are super nice. It's clean and the displays are in your face and more importantly, clean and easy to see. Prices are right and I just found out that they sell my favorite cakes with my favorite fillings \by the slice\.
This location has received a well deserved face lift. The location interior has been given a fresh coat of paint and new display cases have been added. The cakes are all still made the same, fresh and DELICIOUS. Very happy to see this establishment is still running strong for the next generation to indulge in.
