This is our third birthday cake and one had been better (over the top) than the other. The artistry and creativity has left us in awe. The best part of this is, once you build up enough courage to cut into the cake, the cake itself is wonderfully delicious. Great tasting with superior ingredients that comes through with every bite. I have been purchasing specialty birthday cakes for my grandsons in NY for 16 years. For the past two two and a half years I stumbled on The Butter End on line from NY for my two Cal. grandsons. So often you buy a cake for how it looks but are disappointed when they are eaten. Have no fear of that disappointment with a Butter End Cake. This is not a paid endorsement. I am not related. I am a happy customer who is willing to pay more for these special occasion cakes for my grandsons for the lasting memories.

I am in love with their vegan/gluten-free selections. The flavors and textures are not at all compromised. I can not believe the richness Kimberly and her team has achieved with their chocolate chip cookies. I highly recommend ordering any custom desert or cake from The Butter End Cakery.

I saw you in Food Network I don't like the fact that the owner cooks and bake with her hair lose and touching it all the times all over the cakes. Be more professional and use at least a pony tail.

Cake is dry, almost rock like. Better to get a cake from whole foods or make your own. Save yourself some money don't waste your time going here. Edit: no I do not have the wrong company my sister bought a cake here so of course your not gonna find my name. Just avoid getting cake here it's not worth it.

My wedding cake looked nothing like the design I had asked for. The bakery assumed zero responsibility for “missing the mark in my eyes”. The cake tasted ok but nothing special. I was actually speechless when I saw my ugly wedding cake. Do yourself a favor and go to a bakery that will not only fulfill their contract but make it right when they completely mess it up.

Whatever your event, you will blow your guests away if you entertain them with a cake from The Butter End. I just had to tear myself away from their Flickr galleries because it is just ENDLESS. I don't know how they do it, but they can do ANYTHING. And, the crazy part is how amazing it TASTES. Love this cakery bakery, and happy to review 5 stars for it!!!
