I called for a last minute birthday gift. Now, I understand that it was \last minute\, but please understand that *I* am an understanding person, so they simply could have told me that that wasn't enough notice....That being said, I called and a young girl answered. She asked when I needed the order and I stated, \Today\ to which she responded, \TODAY?!\ and then asked me to hold. She, I assume, thought that she covered the phone well, but instead, I heard her entire conversation with another young sounding girl there. She said: \She needs it TODAY!\ with a very irritated sounding tone. The other woman responded, \TODAY?! How the hell are we supposed to do that today.....\ and then they phone went muffled. When the young lady returned to the phone, I informed her that I would be taking my business elsewhere. Ladies, I've been in customer service for over 10 years. If you have something ugly to say, make sure the phone's on mute. - FRZ

I reached out to this company a week before I needed an arrangement for my dad's grave and asked if they could do it. Initially, it was a quick response, but after that day, I did not hear anything back. I reached out again that weekend to double check, as the conversation ended abruptly and I did not hear anything else. Someone messaged back and apologized and asked some questions and then nothing again. The next week, I called to see what time I could pick up the arrangement the next day and was told it wouldn't be ready until the afternoon, even though I had mentioned I needed it earlier in the day. When I asked if they were made yet, she answered no. I understand that it was a small order, but I reached out to them a week before and was going to get silk flowers, which could have been made at anytime during that week. While it might not have seemed like a big deal to them, it was a big deal to me. I have often referred clients to them and spoke very highly of them, but this has left a bad impression. I'm sad that this was my experience and I hope that their other customers receive better.

Kaitlan made my modern, trendy, bohemian, elegant vision for my wedding day flowers come to life!!! Her creativity and artistic ability is what created the most beautiful accents and backdrop to our wedding day. I did not order a ton of flowers, but I did not even have to because what I got was quite the statement. It was all incredibly affordable, which is shocking considering the superior quality of the flowers. I am forever grateful for the stunning beauty she so thoughtfully crafted to meet my expectations. I would recommend 10000000x over!!!!

I was looking forward to supporting a local business by using Downtown Flowers for my wedding. I’m getting married at the end of this year, and I had a phone call consultation with Kaitlan Long, the owner. This call was March 3, 2020. She told me she would create an estimate and send me a proposal by the end of the day (or the next day at the latest). I NEVER heard anything. I emailed the owner again on March 24, and I still received NO reply. I, then, messaged the owner through Facebook on May 15, and she replied, “I’m working on your proposal now.” Mind you, over two months after the initial call. I 100% recognize that COVID-19 greatly impacted the business; however, I requested services BEFORE everything shut down, and I was not communicated with at all. The service was just unprofessional. If I cannot trust the communication and services before my wedding, what makes me think I can trust it the day of my wedding? Flowers are a hefty investment, and I refuse to pay for sub-par service.

Reached out to Downtown Flowers because I LOVED the look of their wedding florals. Took weeks to ever receive a quote even after messaging them on Facebook, emailing, and calling. I do understand that companies can get busy but I received quotes from 7-8 different companies and the longest wait was a week. When they did finally send it, it wasn’t correct. That was kind of my last straw as it didn’t seem like the conversation I had with them mattered since they didn’t get the details of the quote correct. Went with another company. Hopefully, in the future, they will make every bride feel important and not put on the back burner like I felt.
