I lived in Japan for 10yrs and still have the same joy that I use to have eating this here in the United States now. The food is always fresh and delicious and you get a sense of home when you are there. I would recommend Coco Ichibanya to anyone seeking a taste of amazing Japanese curry and an over-the-top wonderful adventure. See you there.

The portions are huge and filling. Comfort food that hits the spot. You can get regular or mild curry, or vary the level of heat for an additional cost. I liked the option of stewed chicken curry if I didn’t want anything deep fried, and it was nice to be able to add vegetable topping to it for some health. The pickled relish that came with it is usually one of my favorite parts of having Japanese curry, but it was actually a bit sweeter than I would have liked. The curry was a bit thin but quite flavorful. I could see some oil separation at the top when I finished eating all the ingredients.

Didn't post any photos because it didn't last that long. I got the pork cutlet, curry lvl 2 (would stay below 4, trust me) & 2 orders of vegetable croquettes & Naan. If you can't decide if there curry is worth it, let me reassure you, IT'S WORTH IT LOL.

Great atmosphere for some curry. Nice modern atmosphere. Clean restaurant and fast friendly service. The food was fun mix and match curry options. Would recommend!

Curry sauce was very flavorful. I was disappointed with the fried chicken: no flavor, cold and not fully fried. Chicken cutlet same thing. Bland chicken!

Worst curry ever!!!! I am more of curry maniac and tried all kinds of curries Indian to Japanese close to half a decade! Building seems excellent exterior with their logos and looked professional. However when I tasted first spoon, it was disaster. I usually order mild so I can taste the essence of curry. OMG, I I could taste nothing but salt! Salad, Nan, and Lash was good! But it is Curry house!!!!!!!! Awful experience, never want it again!

First time having CoCos in the USA and it was great! I think the spice levels are off though as they seem to be less spicy.
