Great customer service. The calls are handled with diligence and care. Could the response time be faster at times, sure. But traffic is the great equalizer in many situations.

Father is on Hospice and scheduled at 12:30 to come home to keep comfortable. Ambulance arrived at 1:30 pm. I leave to meet them at his house. 3pm he is till not home. Apparently ambulance is broke down with him in it and will be another 30 minutes for a mechanic to arrive to diagnose the problem. Butler did not arrange for another bus to come get him nor another company. So 2 hours my father is waiting in the back of the ambulance. Why does Butler have no back up plans for these issues and why didn’t anyone call us to tell us of the issue. Absolutely absurd and will not suggest ever using them in the future. Family went and got him and brought him home.
My dad has a scheduled pick up at 7:30am to go to an extremely important medical appointment that took months to get. I arrived at 7:15am to make sure the he got on the transport. At 7:45am, still no transport had shown up. I called the Butler number and got voice mail. At that point, I put my dad in my own car and drove him to the appointment myself. My dad has both a breathing tube and a feeding tube, so proper transportation was desired. However due to the unreliable service from Butler, we had to wing it and I took him myself. According the my dads nurse at the rehab, the transport showed up at 10am! They apparently had a problem with their vehicle, but neglected to call us or the rehab to share that, or provide a back up. When my mom called Butler to complain, they LIED and said they were only 10 minutes late, and then they hung up on her. Please note: this transport was arranged by Kaiser, so if your family member is a Kaiser member, this may be the service they are offered for transportation.
My first call ended with Levi hanging up on me. He spoke very fast and low when he answered the phone makes it impossible to comprehend anything he said. I called back and the same thing happened: He was informed that he had hang up on me. He didn’t apologize and proceeded to tell me after my inquiry that I needed to pay with a credit card and once payment is received from the insurance company my card will be reimbursed. So if you don’t have money you won’t get to your appointment: Double standard.
I am amazed this company is still in business, they are 4 hours late in picking up my husband .
