Words cannot describe...... Our beloved dog, Lola, was diagnosed with Liver cancer, and given one week to live. Six weeks later, she was still eating, running, and playing around. But one day she started to decline in health, until eventually she made it clear that it was time. She stopped eating, and wouldnt go outside except to sit by a tree for hours (which was unusual for her). She was breathing heavy, and had a very bad hacking cough. It was clear she didnt have long, and was starting to be in pain. We called Dignified Pet Services, explained the circumstances, and they came out the same day, driving 30 extra miles, or double their normally allowed distance (all the way up to Deer Island). When she showed up, she was extremely kind and understanding the entire way through. She was willing to accommodate any request we had, and gave us plenty of time with our sweet girl to say final goodbyes. She thoroughly explained the process before begining, ensuring we knew exactly what to expect. Lola went to sleep very peacefully, surrounded by all of her loved ones comforting her (including her brother, Cody) in her favorite spot, instead of being hauled to the vet at the last minute. The lady was also very comforting to Cody, giving him time to see her after the process and try to help him understand. We have a long gravel driveway, and she let us escort her and Lola away with our quads in a country-motorcade fashion. The office called the next day to offer condolences, and let us know that she would be cremated that day. Experience with this company could not have been more perfect. They made one of the hardest things we've ever had to do just that much easier, which made all the difference in the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much DPS! We love you, Lola! - Donna, Bob, Jake, and Cody

I have to say I am so impressed with Dignified Pet Services. I lost my mare, Cheyenne, very unexpectedly on Friday evening. Called DPS. On Saturday, Jill was so sweet, she called the equine team to see about their schedule. They would not be able to pick her up until the next morning which was Sunday. On arrival, they asked her name and always referred to her as Cheyenne. They were so gentle with her as they loaded her on the sled and pulled her into the trailer, they all really cared about my baby girl. On Thursday Randy delivered Cheyenne home, she was in a box(not many urns in horse size) and the box had a large bow on top and her name was printed on the front. Randy even removed a few ashes, so i could give to my neighbor, she loved Cheyenne so much. I recommend Dignified Pet Services, truly a very caring group when it comes to taking care of your pet. I will definitely use them again. Thank you so much and Blessings to you all. Deborah

I used the services of Dr. Cherise Hill through this company to euthanize my cat. It was the WORST experience of my life!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not find any reviews on this vet at the time, but I spoke with her in advance about the drugs she used and my concerns. I was hoping for a peaceful passing. The vet did not examine my cat and discuss things with me when she arrived. The vet seemed in a hurry to do the euthanasia. As soon as she had access to my cat, she immediately pulled out the needles. After injecting my cat with the “sedatives”. My cat started to choke and gasp, and cried and yowled and shrieked. Her eyes bulged and her lips and tongue turned purple as she gasped for air. She was terrified and in terrible pain. She did not want to die, and struggled. Then she collapsed unconscious. I then had to say goodbye, as the vet told me we could not wait because the final drug would not reach her heart in time and her suffering would be prolonged. I had to say goodbye to my unconscious cat. She was my soul companion of 17.5 years. She had lymphoma, kidney failure, liver failure and heart failure. She could no longer swallow water. She was suffering so much and I just wanted to help her. I regret using the services of Dr. Hill. I hope I can help other people by sharing my experience. I kindly ask that Dignified Pet Services do not contact me. Nothing can be done at this point and no words will ever console me, only upset me further.
