Three buildings for off load Outside dock if no one u can park over night they will off load early morning if your trailer open, Only one trailer allowed to park if they are here to offload, First come first serve, no appointment, They close 10pm

Thursday March 8, 2018 My husband was standing on the line and a big metal piece weighting about 30 pounds broke from the machine 10 feet and dropped on his left shoulder. His supervisor witnessed it and grabbed him and he walked to the safety room. Later that day he went to the hospital. His shoulder is bruised and he has been having headaches and shoulder/back pain every since. His doctor stated that he was on lite duty less then 10 pounds. So the next day the job had him sitting in the safety office for almost 3 hours and then they had him mop floors for the rest of the day. He stated to them that this wasn’t right and that he’s going to have to contact an attorney because he was in so much pain and could barely even mop. They wouldn’t even approve his workman’s compensation even through they didn’t really have anything for him to do that was under 10 pounds until his shoulder healed. Now they been tryna do everything to fire him just not to be able to pay. This corporation doesn’t care about their employees or their safety at all. If I could give them a 0 I would!

This is in regards to Guardian West rather than Flex-N-Gate (which both are owned by same). Terrible place to work, Management incompetent, NO training given by Quality Manager regarding Quality Engineer role (concerning company procedures, and etc.). Quality Manager is a joke, and relies on everyone else to do his job. Environment filthy, unsafe, and primative! Hourly employees are treated as though disposable, and foreign that don't know any better and are worried about the I.N.S.! Unfortunately, I was injured outside of work and unable to return to position there. But, wouldn't recommend to anyone to work there..period. I will say my management pay was good (but, that was because of high turnover within Management). Benefits we're average for Management, but below average for hourly workers! For your safety and sanity I'd look elsewhere if I had to do it again!
