What a treasure Paul is - I feel like I was able to go back in time and do something I thought was going to be impossible. His guidance and consulting is as wonderful as the quality of his plates. This is the finished product of just one of the services that Paul provided for me during his restoration of my 1935 California license plate. After I sent Paul a picture of my plate he informed me a short time later that he did a DMV check to make sure that I would be able to use it on my 1935 Harley Davidson. He then gave me an estimate and explained what would have to be done to repair and repaint my plate. The plate had a bend/crease down the center, flattened areas on the numbers, several other dents and various damaged areas all over the plate. Paul assured me that it would look as good as new. Take a look for yourself. It looks like a brand new plate. If I ever have a need for another vintage license plate, plate repair or questions about license plates, I will, without hesitation, call Paul. Absolutely the BEST! Thank you Paul!
I met Paul and Naomi yesterday at the 2021 Selma Vintage Car Swap Meet. I was looking for California 1929 plates for my Ford Model A. They had a few new old stock, still in the original paper sets that have never been used or assigned to cars. I looked through all of them and bought a set. If you want beautiful YOM plates for your vintage car, buy from this couple. They are the nicest people and go above and beyond, even giving you the DMV paperwork needed to use the plates.

I was in search of some original CA plates for my newly purchased 1969 Mercedes 280SE and came across California Old License Plates. What a great experience. Did not think my 1972 plates from my Jeep J-truck could be restored. It was used as a snow plow in its prior life so they were in pretty rough shape. Talked with Paul and he was able to help. Now the plates look good as new. Very happy with how they turned out and the whole process.
Found this site on google,was very impressed with it. After talking to Paul, I felt very comfortable dealing with him and trusted him with my original black and yellow plates off my 1967 GTO, which had been sitting outside under a tree for about 20 years. The plates were faded and had some surface rust on them. About a 6 week turnaround and the price was very exceptional. When we got the plates back, they look like brand new plates!
