I lived at 1001 S. Forest for two years. The apartment was spacious and bright. No major issues. Furniture could have been nicer.

Horrible Experience. Dirty apartment on move in, refused to fix many issues. Dishwasher leaked for 5 weeks and it took 7 calls for it to be fixed, and the new dishwasher was waiting in the hallway for a week before it was installed. Mail was frequently lost, and many packages were stolen. My secure envelopes were ripped into by strangers since varsity does not secure anything. Was warned about nonpayment after payment was already sent because of system errors. Multiple shut offs of utilities with no warnings for repairs. Laundry room was constantly flooded. An absolute nightmare to live at, please avoid.

varsity is honestly pretty garbage. I have lived with them for 2 separate leases and as an undergrad, the only way their prices were even close to affordable was by sharing a room. They overcharge so much for the POS apartments that they provide, as well as the nicely stained and ripping furniture. Look elsewhere

My Amazon packages were frequently stolen because they kept the entrance door open at all times. After trying 3 times, I reached and asked for any protocols. They replied with: well there’s nothing we can do, go call Amazon.

I lived in a Varsity apartment building for over a year...and aside from the mice, centipedes, ants, building code violations, electrically-faulty (and shock-giving) stovetops, decrepit furnishings, and incredibly rude management, it was a great time. Stay far away, you can do much better on campus.
