This beautiful place is lovingly maintained and a most delightful place to vacation. The setting is gorgeous. We have stayed here for the 10 day Steamboat every year for the past 10 years plus and it has been the highlight of our year. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay. We played horseshoes and corn hole and really enjoyed how beautiful the property was and how accommodating the managers were during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful. The house we rented was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen worked out well and we look forward to coming back to enjoy the fire pit! We kept our boat across the street at the dock in the Otter Creek. Getting out of the river (3.4 miles) was really easy and worked out well. We caught some nice salmon, lake trout and even a nice steelhead. Great spot!

We just returned from a weeks long stay at the Rivers Edge Cottages. If I had the time available I would repack my bags and return for another extended visit and recommend others to tag along. Dianne Steve and the Petroniro family go out of their way to make sure you are having a comfortable visit. They also made sure visitors and staff were following the Covid guidelines. The cottages are move in ready, clean linens on the bed, fans and air conditioning. The grounds are spotless and beautifully landscaped with colorful flowers, plants, and interesting sculptures around. You can relax on your porch or sit under the large pavilion while enjoying the lovely countryside. We are already looking forward to our 2021 stay. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Well what can I say? Absolutely nothing bad! Dianne and Steve go out of their way to make every visit memorable in a great way. We are part of a group of steamboaters and we've been going to Vergennes for years now. Having good docks for our boats is important as well as good firewood to run our boats with. As my wife would say, "Alles gute!"
