I would not recommend purchasing the shiny trough sink. First issue was with installation of the granite countertops. My contractor wasn't able to find any specs for this sink which caused issues of no search history on the cut and workaround on that particular countertop to fit that sink. Next issue, on day 2 of minimal usage, my sink had dark spots appear. Of all 3 of the copper sinks I ordered for my house, this one was the worst quality. After I mentioned it in feedback given to simplycopper, Cheryl's (sales manager) response was... "Are you wanting your sink to stay shinny? If so, use Wright’s Copper cleaner. Shinny copper must be maintained in order to stay shinny. What you are seeing on the sink is the natural patina that occurs with use. Just like a copper penny, it will not stay shinny unless it is polished back to its original state." Once I replied back explaining I had 2 other sinks purchased that are better quality with more usage and not showing signs in comparison to theirs, I received no other responses. In other words, they don't truly care to hear feedback. I would hate for anyone else to spend that much money and be completely dissatisfied. Sharing is caring!

I am truly thrilled with the beautiful copper sink I ordered. I chose the trough sink in an aged look, and it came out perfectly! The sink is gorgeous and was the focal point of my design!
