Quaint little place with really friendly employees. They cook everything fresh, to order, so be prepared for a wait... but it is worth the wait. We like to stop here on our way home from the aweowea beach park and it's fun that it has the old sugar mill (now soap factory) in the background.

I had HUGE expectations after reading the reviews and I have admit I was a bit disappointed. Very fresh food, very great service, but lacked the taste experience of 5 stars. Middling good yes. But absolutely not 5 star. We got the teriyaki chicken, fish sandwich, fish wraps, fish tacos, fries and the Brussel sprout dish. Fish sandwich was the best thing we got - very good. Fish wraps were fresh but very bland and lacking much fish at all. Fish tacos were just OK. Fish taco at Surf and Salsa much better. Teriyaki chicken and rice was very good - but hard to mess that up. Fries very good. No idea what the Brussel sprout things were but apparently you are supposed to burn them to a crisp. They were OK but burned beyond recognition.

I ordered the bbq chicken plate. What i got was pure joy. The chicken was moist and full of flavor. The rice was sticky and the salad had a wonderful ginger dressing. And grilled pipeapple. What a awesome meal and i left full

My 1st time here. Drove 15 miles to eat here and was well worth it! Fish was fresh and the ginger dressing on my salad was delicious!
