Well worth it - we went to Dr. Leimkuhler in May/June of 2019. Our health insurance did not cover this but we heard wonderful things about him and felt that it would be worth the cost to get answers. It was. We received answers to questions and now understand our (adult) child's behavior. He did a family interview, something that many of the doctor's covered under my health insurance did not do since my child is over 18 - and that interview was able to shed a lot of light on the subject for him, thus enabling him to more accurately use the results of the testing for a diagnosis. Within five days of our final meeting (where he provided a final report which included a diagnosis and recommendations), I had received a full receipt to submit to my insurance company. Rosie, the receptionist, went above and beyond to work with our schedule. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Center for Neuropsychology and Learning Disorders.

I want to personally thank Dr. Leuimkuhler for everything he’s done from childhood into young adulthood. Dr. Leuimkuhler spoke with me thoroughly and positively on any issues that may have concerned me, he had no problems explaining in depth if I were confused about anything and I left fully confident working on future endeavors regarding school work or even simple daily tasks that I struggle with. His staff was also accommodating and helpful around my school schedule... I feel optimistic and that may be the best feeling ever!

My family had a fabulous experience at the Center for Neuropsychology. The receptionist/office manager could not have been more organized and professional. She went out of her way to accommodate my family's schedule and always returned calls immediately. Dr. Leimkuhler is knowledgeable and compassionate. He took the time to explain the process and results, while always remaining understanding and supportive. My experience at CNLD ranks as an A and I highly recommend this medical practice.

Dr. Leimkuhler and his team are wonderful. He made me feel welcome and comfortable from the very first visit. Yes, the testing is long and a bit grueling but I've never met with a Neuropsychologist that was more thorough in a field that I can only imagine is incredibly difficult. Throughout the entire process I was treated with kindness and empathy. From receptionist, Betsy, Julie who presented most of my testing, to Dr. Leimkuhler himself, I was treated with empathy and respect. I've been struggling with ADHD and other mental afflictions for a long time... adding Dr. Leimkuhler to my team gives me a feeling of hope that I may live with the quality of life that I strive for.
