This is in response to the first review about Hudson Valley. This is the ups and downs when you deal with the home warranty company. You bought it so live with it! Remember this and don't forget it. The warranty companies insist they buy the parts for us. So don't expect things to be done that day at your beck and call. Have a great day.
I was referred to this company by MDresidence because the water heater stopped working on Sunday night. The mention of 24 hour service is the first lie that the owner boasts off. After multiple calls we were able to get hold of him on Mon but he kept making up excuses through out the day. finally he promised to show up on Tuesday morning. when he saw the water heater he had no idea what could be going wrong. he dismantled the gas valve only to tell me that it was working fine. he told me that that he works alone and would not be able to replace the water heater by himself. He opened the water heater components and suggested that I should ask my wife to dry the water leakage because he has to go do other jobs. He said he will be back in few hours. He did not show up that day. following day at 3 pm he called to say that he might have time for us. His mannerism is the worst i have seen. he is a liar and lacks empathy for other people. I eventually had to hire Boiler King to do the job. They did it in 1 hour what he could not address in 3 days. Bottom line: this business owner cannot be trusted for any job. He lacks professionalism and probably lacks the capacity to perform the plumbing work. I would never ever recommend him for anything to anyone.
Don't waste your time with this irresponsible company.
Actually NEGATIVE !! They accepted a plumbing assignment from my home warranty company, but never showed up. When I tried calling them the phone was disconnected.
