I visited this place 1.5 years ago, and it still haunts me to this day. I needed emergency work done on a broken tooth, and had a crown put in as a result of a root canal. All was fine until just a few months later, when the crown shattered. I was back in the office to have it re-cast, but only after being scolded by their office administrator (not a doctor) for \grinding my teeth\ and ot purchasing a mouth guard\. One argument later, I left with one and have worn it every night since. Six visits and five poorly-made crowns later, they finally cemented what they claimed was a decent crown created at a \better lab\, until just this week when it popped off while eating breakfast. This led me to visit a real, competent dentist who showed me some x-rays. I am no dentist, but this was a clearly mis-aligned crown. My only assumption is that they tried to rush me out the door after their repeated goof-ups rather than giving me a refund for this defective product and service. To top things off, the tooth underneath is clearly decayed which would indicate that the tooth was improperly cast and set the whole time. I would rather pay to have this process done all over again at a competent office rather than visit this place ever again. Changing the name from the original \Soft Touch Dentists\ is little more than a weak attempt to duck their terrible reputation. Reader, I implore you -- avoid this place at all costs. If you are in pain and need to see someone quick on a weekend, just deal with it until a decent dentist's office is open on Monday. Your wallet will thank you later.

They did a crown and filling and cap so poorly I had to go get it redone. There were gaps between their work and the teeth resulting in the development of pain. The mistakes were so obvious that when my family dentist showed me pictures of the work I couldn’t believe it. When the work was redone, all the crowns had to be drilled out because otherwise I would have immediately developed cavities in the gaps that soft touch dentists had left. DO NOT GET WORK DONE WITH SOFT TOUCH. When I explained that I had the work redone, they offered no recompense and were incredibly unkind and verbally cruel in their response. I am still having flashbacks to how terrible they treated me and how it felt to realize that I’d have to get the work they did on multiple teeth re done. Any positive reviews of this dentist are baffling. Just wanted to add, the work that had to be done was itself very painful - at one point while trying to put on the crown, the dentist couldn’t figure it out - eventually the assistant pointed out it was backwards. I’m still having nightmares about the way I was treated at this place - last night I dreamt the work they did litterally fell out of my mouth and I had to go and get it fixed - which was pretty much what actually happened. I hope this place shuts down and the dentists there stop practicing.

I’ve been coming here ever since I moved to DC and I feel at home here. The office has recently changed names but fortunately my favorite hygienist is still there. She’s so kind and she’s definitely the reason I keep coming back. Thank you Shabna!

Always have the most pleasant experience here, which is not something I expect from a dentist office! The hygienist I always see, Shabnam, is especially wonderful - highly recommended!

Before going to Beautiful Smiles, I hadn't been to the dentist in four years, so I was very nervous for my appointment (like, shaking and trying not to cry nervous). I told the dental hygienist about my dental history, sensitive teeth and gums, and my fear of the dentist and she was incredible. I didn't catch her name but I wish I had because she was through, gentle and very kind, assuaging my fears and taking good care of me. When it came time for Dr. Dubey to look at my teeth, she gave me the bad news (and confirmed my fears)- I had five cavities. Having never had a cavity in my life, I was overwhelmed but the Beautiful Smiles team was great. Johnathan patiently and kindly explained my insurance coverage and gave me good advice on how to save the most money while taking care of my teeth. In the end, I decided to get all five cavities taken care of that afternoon. It wasn't a pleasant procedure, but not nearly as bad as I had feared. Dr. Dubey was gentle and patient, and always made me feel safe-I felt like I was in good hands every step of the way. A few days later, when I was scared one of my fillings had come loose, she fit me in that afternoon to take a look at me (it was fine!). Overall, I had a great experience at Beautiful Smiles and would definitely recommend them. I noticed multiple negative reviews on google, and although I do not discount those reviewers, my experience couldn't have been farther from theirs. I felt valued and safe, and I definitely plan to go back.
