Catch them earlier in the day if you want pastries or bread (hence the 4 stars), otherwise great food. People talk about the old uncle at the counter being mean but he was never rude to me. I think people just expect a certain experience walking in and you won’t get that here. Now he calls me honey whenever I come in to get breakfast, some oxtails, or just buy a can of soda :-)

One of the best low key places that have good Caribbean food. I had the shrimp and grits and it was good, my taste buds were finally satisfied with the carribean flavors bursting . The give you about 6-7 Shrimp in this dish, the shrimp are medium size which is perfect servicing size. Plenty of grits ofcourse! You should definitely try something from this place but only during the weekday cause they are closed on weekends unfortunately. The service was great , I felt welcome and seemed very mom and pop feel.

It is not well kept. Everything needs to be cleaned counter and pastry box is dirty. Dose not smell fresh. Guy at the counter was sour ( not friendly). The place needs to be cleaned. I got a coffee but would not eat in this place no matter how good the foid might be.
