Great service , might fall a little behind on time but that is understandable. Always went above and beyond with my suits. Very friendly and personable.

UPDATE: I took the dress to a tailor in London, UK and they fixed the bust of my dress in 3 hours and changed me less than 30. I repeat, don’t bring your clothes here. Huge ripoff. If you’re thinking about altering your clothes here, I’d look elsewhere. I took a long evening dress to get altered, specifically around the bust (too big) and the length (too long). When ‘Stephen’ was done with the measurements, he informed me that it would be 110 to make the alterations, as it would be intricate work to fix the bust. I thought this was quite high, but as this is DC, I thought maybe it was normal. He told me it would take two weeks to get this done (seemed like a LONG time), and I mentioned it was cutting it close as I needed the dress in two weeks time. He said he would call when it was done. Two days before I needed the dress, I called and there was no answer. I kept calling and finally someone answered the day I needed to leave. He had me waiting on the phone for a while as he ‘couldn’t find the dress’. He finally finds it and says it’s ‘ready’. I pick up the dress (he basically pushed me out the door when I picked it up) but didn’t have time to try it on as I needed to finish packing as I was leaving that night for the UK. If I had not called, I don’t think they ever would have called me, and I know why... I try on the dress and it’s an actual disaster. I don’t think ‘Stephen’ did ANYTHING to fix the bust. It fit EXACTLY the same as when I first tried it on. He charged me 110 for absolutely nothing. He fixed the length, and that’s it. Even if I had tried the dress on in DC, it still would have been a disaster as there would have been no time to fix the dress before my trip. I now have to buy a new dress for this wedding. Do NOT bring your clothing to this establishment. They are dishonest and will take your money to basically do nothing. You’ve been warned.

I bought a pair of nudie jeans for 180. Got them patched twice, spent 30 elsewhere, but that tailor moved locations. I go to them, and I think they saw a student and treated me like a joke. I paid 30 for them to sew up 3 locations that probably took 10 minutes max. The pants don't hold in the same locations, and are falling apart already after like 10 wears. Shoddy work on these, and had other pants tapered here that they did okay. I'll have to look for a better tailor.

Top notch craftsmanship! I have gone to Stephen for more 20 years-- and I trust him completely! His work is excellent and he knows his materials and other accoutrements. If you want to make sure you look right while working in DC-- Stephen is the Man!

I've gone here twice for a simple hem on some yoga pants. The pants came out good and the tailors actually listen to you instead of just measuring and pinning where they think things should fall. The price is also reasonable. I'll definitely be back for future hems. The only downside is that they say they will call you within a week to let you know when your clothes are done but they didn't call me either time and I had to contact them a week later to check if my pants were done.
