I was in need of a dryer for several months, but was waiting for the right deal, and going to the laundromat in the meantime, when I finally saw a dryer online that seemed perfect at the Sears Hometown Store in Waterloo. I went there in person the next day and they had it in stock, and as luck would have it - I was told that the delivery guys were due back in the store shortly after I paid for the purchase, and the salesperson said he would ask them if they would deliver and set up mine the same day when they got back to the shop. I wouldn't expect that to happen - and fully expected to have to wait awhile for the delivery. But lo and behold, I had barely made it back home (about an hour later) when here came a Sears truck with two awesome delivery and set up guys - Rick and Jake - with my new dryer! They were both so pleasant, upbeat and helpful - and in no time had my new dryer installed, and even switched the door to where it opened to the opposite side that I preferred. I am over the moon with the service I received and my new dryer - highly recommend this store!

Had some really nice items. Inventory was low, but it seems everyone is having a hard time getting appliances. We will go back soon when we are ready to buy

Ordered item online for pick up in Waterloo. Credit card charged. Item canceled due to out of stock. 17 days later and still no credit. Next step, dispute the charge. But the customer service reps keep trying to sell me things. Gotta admire their persistence. Uh...no thanks. Not a review of the Waterloo store, but BEWARE. There's a reason they're bankrupt.
