Super duper small, but the entire place is very nice and inviting. Doesn't feel run down at all like some other small airports. Since it's so small, it isn't very busy. Showed up 1 hour before my flight and was still able to check a bag, hit the restroom, and get through security with 40 minutes to spare.

They continue to show they can't handle the most basic winter flight operations in a timely manner. Left the gate and sat waiting 25 minutes for them to de-ice the plane because the de-ice truck needed to 'warm up.' They only have one departure a day. You'd think they could have that ready to go and not delay our flight a half hour. This happens to me in Waterloo way out often!

Its a small airport with limited flights, mostly from Chicago, Minneapolis etc. Better option is Cedar Rapids airport. Flights get cancelled generally in rough weather. The airshow there is good.

Small, clean airport with direct access to the gates. Parking under 3 hours is free and directly across from the airport.
