Michelle was a very helpful instructor. I took 4 classes from her prior to my child’s birth. I really enjoyed her sense of humor, great preparation and knowledge, and gentle approach to supporting new parents!

Taking classes at Mothering the Mother was one of the most important things I did for pregnancy/ prepping for the kind of birth experience I wanted. Michelle’s warm & welcoming attitude and absolutely amazing plethora of knowledge helped my husband and I make informed decisions and I felt extremely empowered moving forward. She also provided info on local doulas, which we hired. The classes are extremely thorough (about 3-4 hrs long) & thoughtful, with hands on experience to help it all sink in. The sliding scale payment option allowed us to take multiple classes. Highly, highly recommend Mothering the Mother! If you can only do one thing, do the initial birth consultation! What was also wonderful was the fact we got to try multiple sample products out so we could see how they worked best for us- ie which breast pump to get. Thank you for being part of our journey, Michelle!
