Beautiful lake to kayak. Really peaceful and quiet place. We spent 2 hours kayaking. Views of the peaks on one side and view of Stratton mountain ski slope on the other side. Plenty of parking space. Two small island in the lake to get off and relax. Lots of birds. Small hike near the parking entrance. Road to the kayaking launch site is a dirt road and at times only one vehicle can pass through. Will definitely visit again. Site is really well maintained.

Beautiful Place. Carry out what you carry in . Bring a trash bag to help keep it that way. And if you want to your vehicle in one piece, don't park the loading zone any longer then needed to get your boat loaded or unloaded.
