If you don't know what you're looking at, you might not enjoy yourself here. The house is privately owned by the family, not a foundation. I wish them the best in their restorations and hope to see the whole house back to it's \original\ state one day.. especially on a sunset tour.

A dream come true. What a beautiful house and beautiful scenery. The tour was very interesting and informative, and our guide was brilliant. I really recommend visiting the house especially if you’re a big fan of everything 50s, 60s. You can just imagine how it must’ve been like living there during that period. Amazing! If you plan to go here, book a good couple of months well in advance, especially the evening tour.
Astonishing and thrilling. The iconic structure famous for its breathtaking view of the Sunset Strip. It’s a living history. It’s immaculate mid century design and the oft photograph pool and perched on the edge of the cliff.
So I bought this house a few days ago and I'm very happy with the investment. Beautiful architecture and stunning location.
Disappointed to not be allowed a camera (you can have a cellphone) during this tour but in every other way I could not have been happier to finally be setting foot in the house I learned about both as a high school photography student and as an architecture undergrad. Truly it lived up to the hype and then some. Make sure to schedule a tour so you're there before sunset and can then appreciate the view as it changes to sunset then night. Such a great tour!!!
