Worst ER ever!! Several months ago I went to the ER with a blood clot in my leg. They told me I needed an ultrasound to confirm, however they didn't have anyone there to do it and wouldn't call anyone in. An ER without and ultrasound tech!!! The Doctor told me I had to come back at 7am the next day for the Ultrasound. I went back at 7am and sat there for 4 and a half hours for a 10 min ultrasound. They then billed me for 2 ER visits. Both Doctors have been paid but I REFUSE to pay for the 2nd ER visit because it should have been done in 1 visit. I called as soon as I both the bill and they are reviewing it but it's been months and they are threatening collection! Will NEVER use this place again!!

They are only paid to care. they will just give up on you when the situation isn't easy for them. Don't expect much to happen for you... FYI Doctors at both rhinelander and Marshfield, when you stop some one off their meds cold turkey... they are consequences. Some people can't handle that. Your staff at both places needs to do more work on mental health and not rely on crisis line. Crisis doesn't see what happens, you do...

Want to thank the staff (RN - Ray & PA Dave ) for making my ER visit, last night, a very pleasant & informative experience. Would also like to thank the receptionist. They all were so kind.

The doctor honestly told us that it matters more what the insurance wants then the patient. Some of the nurses have no idea what's going on, and are rude. The entire Ascension system is like this, tho there are a few good doctors here and there. The ER rooms aren't much better. They are more interested in getting you out the hospital or ER then finding the problem. In all fairness this was written before Marshfield clinics took over. Hopefully, it's improved since then.

Worst hospital in the area. They falsly accused me of selling dope in the hospital. Two. They harassed me. They don't take care of the patients like their supposed to. My friend got bed sores cause they wouldn't move her. They are very rude and unperfessional.
