Jerry Evans School of Music is great! Our son has been taking drum lessons there with Stephen Utterback for 3 years and his skills have grown continuously the entire time. Stephen is a great, engaging instructor that works on teaching the notes, musicality and fundamentals in a fun learning environment. The semester end concerts where they pair other students on different instruments to perform a song as a band are a blast and another great opportunity for musical growth. Our son started school band last year and it has been really easy for him because of his Jerry Evans experience.

I am a student at Jerry Evans school of music and I have been taking singing lessons since the start of 2020. I have been learning a lot and never leave disappointed. Everyone is so nice and makes sure you understand what they are teaching.
I have known Jerry for over a decade and seen the amazing results of his students musical progression. Now, many years later, I live in Naperville, but travel weekly to Wheaton to bring my two elementary-aged children to him for guitar lessons despite other schools being much closer to me. For me it is definitely worth it. My kids love learning from him and have a great relationship with his staff. Definitely recommend!
Jerry Evans is a wonderful music school. They offer a variety of different types of lessons and the instructors are top-notch. They are doing in-person lessons very safely, and also offer a remote option.
