Great facility that feels like home. My mom has been residing here for over a year on the memory care side. It is clean and smells good. The food is good. Plenty of activities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other residents are sweet. I'm happy with our experience.

My mother lived at this facility for over a year and while she was in Assisted Living, they were good to her, but then they moved her to Memory Care and all of sudden she kept falling every week and they would send her to hospital every time. I think they had a deal going with the ambulance provider cause it became a weekly thing and they kept charging me 200 each way. Then somebody broke into my mother's room and they broke and stole her stuff. I placed a claim with the Administrative staff and they have yet to provide any resolution and it has been 6 months! They simply won't answer emails, which I find very unprofessional. Her new place Royal Vista really takes care of her and she has not fallen or gone to hospital once.

Our Dad has been living here since October of 2012. We chose Whittier Place primarily because of their professional yet caring staff and levels of care. As well, they are providing a fun environment for Dad, supporting his new friendships, and making his adjustment to community life easier. We recommend Whittier Place!

Whittier Place has been home to my mother for almost 4 years. She entered after falling and having a spine compression fracture where she needed the daily help with meals, cleaning and laundry. About two years later she had heart surgery and her needs increased dramatically where she needed additional help getting in and out of bed, toileting and getting to the dining room for meals. Now she is in hospice where she can do nothing for herself and the staff take care of all her daily needs. During this process the Whittier Place team of supervisors, caregivers, medication technicians, dietary staff and even front desk receptionists have provided the expertise, teamwork and loving environment that both she and the family has needed. We have found EVERYONE to be caring, full of integrity, experts on the care of the elderly, and so willing to increase my mother's care as her needs have increased. Communication has been outstanding between the Whittier Place supervisory staff, ourselves and the day to day caregivers. We could not ask for a better place for our mother to be, and for that we are very thankful.
