Called last week to ask about pricing for selling my used matching washer/dryer combo. Explained everything in detail with the washer as it has an issue that can be fixed, dryer works, no dents, everything. The price estimate given over the phone was drastically different than the price offered. Was offered less than half of what I was told on the phone. Seems like the goal is to get you in so they can make the deal only so that they can offer you way less since you're already in store. They explained they've had some issues recently when giving the original estimate, yet that estimate was made on Thursday last week. Not good business practices to operate like that. I could see a month difference making an impact on pricing offers but not a few days. He was nice and professional, just didn't appreciate the way it was handled as a whole. Edit: I told the person over the phone the model information for both and described the issue in detail over the phone.

Awesome little shop. Good deals and seems like they are much cleaner and more well run than some other places here in Wichita. Got me a really good deal and they even do delivery. May be back for a dryer in a few months!

Purchased a refrigerator and stove with delivery from this establishment - to be honest, my initial impression was a good one. They gave me an estimated delivery time of 1-3 pm, and I asked if I could get a text or call 30 minuts prior so that I would have enough time to leave work and meet them. At 1:30 on the day of delivery, I called the store to see if I could get a better idea of a time frame as my afternoon was filling up quickly. I was told the owner went to lunch and was getting help to make deliveries but that they would be at the house no later than 2:30. I was fine with that, so was at the house at 2:30 - I called the store again at almost 3:00 and they hadn't even left the store yet. They get there at 3:15 (ish), I've already had to rearrange a few appointments because I had based my afternoon off what I was told from them, and also wasted 45 minutes waiting on them. The delivery guys were great, very nice - but it was discovered that they didn't bring the right plug for the stove. He apologized and said he would bring it out the next day and just put it in the mailbox for me. I was fine with that. I still hadn't seen it by Friday (3 days later), so I called the store on Saturday and left a message for someone to call me - on the message I explained the situation. No call back. I call Monday - 6 days after delivery and I explain the scenario again to the manager. He then tells me they don't bring plugs out, he didn't get a request for such a thing and didn't know anything about it. Really quite rude about it to be honest. I don't know how their system is set up, I don't know the dynamics of their business, but one thing I do know, is that I will not be purchasing anything from them in the future. I will take my business where it is appreciated. I'm sure this doesn't phase them at all, but hopefully this saves someone else from being treated poorly as well.

Found exactly what I was looking for, quick, pleasant service. Edit: when the fridge was delivered and we got it set up, we found that the door didn't close properly and seal. We contacted Mid America who sent a repairman out. He removed the door, added a spacer and it works great, dood closes and seals. The fridge is cold and the freezer keep stiff frozen. We wanted a garage fridge, we got a great working one at a reasonable price.

Shopped several used appliance stores for a used fridge. The best prices on the nicest ones were here. They were great to work with and even offered a 90 day warranty. When we need any other used appliances we will skip the chase & go straight to Mid America Appliance next time. Highly recommend!
