Honestly, if you move here you have either made the worst mistake of your life or your only other choice was a cardboard box. If you like a stress free environment, you have not found the place you are looking for. Management is a joke, they never answer your questions directly. They give some BS excuse about it not being there fault and put it all on someone else. They do a poor job communicating with their residents and keeping them up to date on any situation. My best example would have to be the fact I have not had cable for the last month and a half. And it seems highly unlikely that I will have it within the next month. The pool was suppose to be ready the week before spring break, however, almost a month has past and management says it will still be at least another week till it is ready. I really doubt that though. In summary, if you have signed or resigned here ,like I stupidly did, I am sorry for your misfortune. If you are looking for a better place to live drive past Wildwood to either Copper Beach or The Village and you will probably find a great place to live. Do not get sucked in to their marketing ploys to get you to sign here. You will hate it.

I have loved living at Wildwood. The only negative so far is that I have been dinged for late fees twice when I was only a few days late. Kinda petty in my opinion! Otherwise though everything has been pretty great. I really like that Wildwood is new. Last year I lived at a place that was older and it kind of grossed me out. Years of parties and sloppy people livng there took its toll. There was always a faint smell that we couldn’t get rid of and shower was nasty no matter how much we cleaned it The apartments at Wildwood are new, clean, and nice. They are also HUGE ... i think they’re the biggest in the area at least that’s what I was told. I live in a regular floor plan which is cool but I’ll probably ask for a town house when I renew. The pool, fitness center, and clubhouse are incredible. For what it’s worth, Wildwood is one of the best places in my opinion
My first year in San Marcos, I chose to live here and I absolutely loved it. I lived with 3 randoms and it turned out to be such a great experience. The staff is very friendly and caring. They help you immediately with whatever you need. It's clean and very nice looking. The only problem I would have to say is, one time it took maintenance 2 weeks to come fix a minor problem. Also, we didn't have a pool for a while because it was under construction, but there's so many pools in San Marcos this was the slightest issue! However, other than that, I have had no problems. I would live here again without a doubt!!
Honestly it's a great place to live. It's clean and tidy, the management is friendly and they fixed my work order within 30 minutes. The only complaint I have is that the Internet is slow, so be prepared for that.
Although this place is nice, that's the only good thing about it. The management is terrible! No matter how many times they keep getting new management, the next one is always just as bad. They don't take care of work orders at all, it takes them FOREVER. Also if you do live here, which you shouldn't, I would read the lease very carefully. Because they seem to think its okay to come into your apartment whenever they want, and that's not okay. Also for the past month they've been saying they're going to come and do inspections, I think because they are under new management AGAIN. But they still have yet to do so. All we keep getting is notices on our door saying how they'll come the next week or the next week. There's never a set date which is bullshit. They need to set a date with each building of what day they're coming and do it. People have animals and don't want to keep them locked up everyday because they don't know what day they're coming. I'm glad I only had to live here a semester. My roommates and I are all leaving in fact, so are a lot of other people that I know as well. If you choose to live here.. Good luck.
Awful place to live. Everything about it us bad. Little fees for utility charges even during the breaks when no one is here! How are we going over our utility cap when none of my roommates nor me is here! Wifi is the worst thing on Earth. The printer in the lobby never works. Just a hastle. If it's not one thing it's another. Avoid living here if you can it's not where you want to be!
Cheaply made apartments, they do not answer their office phones, and office staff is not very helpful. The pool is okay since its been re-done, but overall I would not recommend this place.
I would HIGHLY consider avoiding residing at this apartment complex. Not only are the members of the management completely inadequate and irresponsible, but the apartment units themselves are built so poorly. I thought Copper Beech was bad, but honestly I would move back in a heartbeat. Due to the lack of adequate insulation between the first floor’s ceiling and the second floor’s floor, I can literally hear everything that my upstairs neighbors do. This includes walking across their floor, pulling in and out chairs, opening and closing cabinets, opening and shutting doors, their dog walking/playing around, anytime anything drops to the floor… everything. The security is a joke, and the amount of trash/dog waste around the property is repulsive. This post is not meant to complain, but simply to warn those who may have been fooled by Wildwood’s seemingly appealing apartments. Seriously, this place is not worth anyone’s money.
