The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry dock on the Jamestown side is located at 2289 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, Virginia. The ferry service is run by the Virginia Department of Transportation and the folks at the docks and running the ferries really seem to love their jobs. My family and I have been on the ferries a handful of times, mostly just for fun and to take visitors for an interesting ride. We do not live in the area so we do not rely on the ferry for daily transportation, but think it's a great service and a fun thing to do (when the weather is good). If you have not experienced a ferry ride here, give it a try. might just surprise you! Well run, clean, friendly facility and super professional and courteous staff.
