Could not be happier with this company. I am new to the area and chose CinderBox because of their high quality reviews and 4.9 rating online. It was late fall, they were very busy and had somewhat of a waiting list, but it was worth the wait. The scheduler Jeff was friendly and courteous. The service tech, Mike was outstanding. He inspected our chimney in a home we just purchased. . Mike was knowledgeable, thorough and straightforward. He stayed while we started a fire, gave some helpful tips and made sure all was working well. Service call was 145, which I felt was very reasonable. Honest work and no up sells. Will definitely use again.

This is our second fireplace with The Cinder Box, and both experiences have been great. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The new fireplace is beautiful! We still need to finish the trim, but the gas ribbon with the glass is lovely. Mike and Mike did a great job on the install and walking me through the process. Would highly recommend The Cinder Box.
Jeff was great! He was professional, quick & offered a lot of great information. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future if I need to.
I called around to find chimney inspection companies in the area, and Cinder Box was by far the most professional and pleasant to work with. They let me know the name of the specialist and approximate time of day for service. I received a call to confirm my appointment the day prior, and a call just before the appointment as well. Our specialist, Travis, was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything to me. He wore his mask, and put on booties before entering my home which was a huge relief. I will recommend Cinder Box to anyone with a chimney!! Don't hesitate, or waste your time trying to find an honest company -call these professionals!
This is the 1st time I've owned a house with a Self-Venting Gas Fireplace; and, it was producing a strong exhaust smell (not a Gas smell) whenever we turned it on. Technician Mikel Morrow was sent out to inspect our Gas Fireplace and make sure it was installed & working properly... he very thoroughly checked everything (which was all working & up to code), very clearly explained what the issue was, took the time to teach me what to do about the issue, as well as how to keep the issue from returning. I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, as well as his clear explanations; and, was very satisfied with his overall service. We will definitely continue to use CinderBox Chimney Services (and hopefully Tech Mikel) to address any questions or issues with our fireplace going forward; and, we would highly recommend you do the same! - Matt D.
