This place has good reviews, but apparently it's moved to a residential property and that's not reflected in the Google images. I also was not able to go because the proprietor was out of town. He'd left this info on his voicemail, which I finally found out when I called, but it wasn't reflected on google either, which showed he was open. Seems like a legit place based on reviews, but it'd be nice if they made sure their google business page, which is how most people learn about a business, better reflected actual status.

Needed a heel liner re-glued today, David diagnosed the problem and re-glued it while I waited for free. Told me to come by again if it becomes a problem again. I've been there previously for slightly more complex work like a sole liner / topy and that has held up great, at very reasonable prices and a very high level of customer service as Today's experience demonstrated. As long as I am living in Austin and David is working on shoes, I see no reason to ever go to anyone else for anything related to shoes. You should currently (11/24/2020) call ahead before you swing by.

I bought some black leather boots with a LOT of buckles on them! I thought they were cute but my daughters said I looked like Motorcycle Mama in them. They were very expensive, and they fit like a glove, so I took them over to Abraham's and asked David if he could remove all but two buckles on each boot, one at the top and one on the ankle. He said yes, so I asked him to do it. Then, when I got the boots back, there was a seam where one of the straps had been, and I was a little upset about it. \Not to worry; it looks natural... you'll see!\ his son said. And he was right! The boots looked amazing and I still love them. (My daughters do, too.) He also kept the buckles and straps and gave them back to me... so thoughtful! Thank you!!!

Great knowledge and attention to detail. This handsome cobbler, with a beautiful family, has great customer service and great skill in his craft. I will go to him for any shoe repair my family or I need, and I would recommend him to anyone who needed his service.
